Synchronicity and guidance
In traditional teaching, the first sign of enlightenment is seeing coincidences and synchronicities. Sceptics always say these are normal, but the odds increase with their frequency, and if you make a note of every one you see for a while the frequency will often be way beyond anything which could happen by chance. These have all been dismissed by the disbelievers, but if you experience them directly, not just a few times but hundreds, and at a level where they can be both expected and predicted, the data is too great to be dismissed.
The first is often the Baader-Meinhof effect, when you hear a word you have definitely never heard, and not one newly coined to explain it, and then hear it again. And you may read it in an old book where it's nothing to do with the current culture. I reached a point where I'd be with someone, hear a new word and say I'd hear it within a day, often on a TV quiz or randomly on the radio, and they were often with me when I did. This then increased to hearing an obscure word or phrase on the radio or TV and reading it at the same time. Again, this became so normal I expected it to happen. And once you've told someone and they've shared it it starts happening to them as well. I believe this is a deliberate glitch in the system which tells you it's not really random, which is the whole point behind this particular message.
If it's not random it's clearly being controlled, by what I can't say, but whatever it is is able to create our world the same way a programmer creates a video game. My situations increase year by year, and sadly I have discovered such guidance is not all positive as it can just as easily direct you into trouble. Again I am not sure why the system causes suffering but in a few cases it saves you from something far worse.
The formula is of being shifted off your planned path, then moved somewhere, delayed, and ultimately cross paths with whatever you need or a disaster directly at the only possible point you could have met. My major examples I remember all have about five steps which all needed to be fulfilled to reach the ultimate point. One of my hobbies is local history photography, primarily getting all the old road signs which survived past the 1964 changes. I travelled at night from Richmond to Aldwych, and firstly, as I live the other side of London, rarely took a route in from Surrey. I passed another direction sign in Fulham I may well not have seen otherwise as it was on the right and would only have seen it heading north from Putney. I knew there was another old sign in Parliament Square on the way, and having rounded it twice and not seen it gave up and headed along the embankment, but it was closed and we were diverted along Whitehall. Guess where the sign was, Whitehall, on my right on the central reservation. Had I not been diverted I'd never have driven along Whitehall, let alone in that direction, and missed getting it as the photo was given the wrong location.
Another came from a dream. I saw a yellow arrow sign to the North Circular Road near me, but the arrow at the end had fallen off. I thought never mind, it's such a nice sign it doesn't matter. A few weeks later I was held in traffic a few miles along the North Circular and that sign was hidden behind a newer crash barrier, and had the end missing as the old right turn had been blocked so the arrow had been taken away. Exactly as I'd seen it in the dream but never stopped long enough at that angle to see it before.
And last week I was out taking photos locally when my mother called me to come as she'd had a fall. Half way there I was diverted and had to drive round the block as the main route had been closed. At the junction I wasn't expecting to use an old friend was crossing I hadn't seen much since she'd got married long ago, she didn't recognise me so I stopped and introduced myself and caught up, and found she was now alone as both her husband and parents had died, and resumed our friendship as we exchanged numbers. She then told me had she not had hurt her toe walking home she'd have been there 5-10 minutes sooner. Quite a few diversions had to happen to make sure we both met when we were supposed to, otherwise the friendship may well never have been revived.
A few months ago I was on the way home from a photo trip, and as usual my car was full of food wrappers from eating lunch in it, and as my mother was being taken out the next day I needed to empty it. I wanted a layby with a bin, and for 50 miles they either had no bins or were full, so in the end I knew the local park on the way home had them so drove into the car park and broke my steering in a pothole. Again, if a single layby with a bin had been available before, maybe 10 which were not suitable, my car would not have been damaged for such a trivial task. This sadly told me it's not just good things we are guided to but glitches. However since speaking to other people some have had problems which stopped them going on a flight or moving furniture to a new home to find the plane crashed or they didn't need the furniture and saved more money not moving it. These are good ones where, for example, you may try and borrow money from lenders and get nowhere, and then find the money without having to pay interest on it. You are being blocked from getting something you either don't need or would cause you problems, so they are good things. But the following week I was driving nearby and had to shift nearer the kerb to avoid a bunch of idiots who walked into the main road and drove straight into a pothole which was tagged to be repaired and bust a tyre, as if the system wanted to prove to me the first accident was their doing. And both were in the same borough and on a double insurance claim as I speak.
Adepts, which I am not, claim we create our own reality. If you learn how then great, but my teaching is about knowing how the system works and expanding your consciousness, not changing the world to suit your own needs. If you find expanding your consciousness can do that then great, but I don't believe many who claim they can do this are really convincing. Technically we control exactly 50% of our lives. We make the decisions where, when and what we want, and the system (other people, delays, disasters etc) decide if and when you are going to get them. We can send in applications or knock on doors but we must then hand the decision over as it's out of our range of control. I neither believe our feelings or thoughts make a blind bit of difference on this, the big events usually happen exactly when we are not thinking of or expecting them. You can expect a disaster or a good result half the time, and the result will probably never correspond with how you feel at the time as the two are not connected. As well as in my own life all other evidence supports this view, that the system works despite our feelings, not because of them.
